What We Believe
Foreword
The Bible States that "they continued steadfastly in the Apostles' doctrine and fellowship" (Acts 2:42). It is therefore very important that members of Life & Light know the doctrine of the Church so that they may closely identify themselves with its fellowship. As a spirit-led body of believers, the Church is exhorted to "Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18)

Since the Spirit of God leads the Church into all truth (John 16:13) this statement of beliefs does not constitute a closed creed. The Church constantly renews its commitment to truth and a deeper understanding and responds to God's guidance in its beliefs.
Bible (Scriptures)
We believe that the Scriptures, both Old And New Testaments are the divinely inspired Word of God and are the revelation of God to man. the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. All Scripture is useful for teaching, rebuke, correcting and training in righteousness.

God
We believe that there is only one true and living God, revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same in essence and equal in every divine perfection.

Salvation
We Believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Believers
We believe that a Believer is one who lives by faith in Jesus Christ and in whom the Holy Spirit abides. The Believer experiences a new birth through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit and is placed in the right relationship with God and fellowman by God's grace. The Believers life is characterized by the fruit of the spirit and his love one to the other.

Baptism and Communion
We believe that all believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and seek the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that water baptism is a symbolic expression the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
When we partake in communion we remember the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ when he gave His life as a ransom for whosoever believes.

Future Events
We believe in the blessed Hope , which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.
